Welcome to the March-April issue of Revue. We're warming up for spring with some hot jazz: Stars of the Monterey Jazz Festival on Tour. Kenny Barron, Regina Carter, Kurt Elling and Russell Malone are each headliners in their own right, but for one night at the Center, they will play as a powerhouse group. The Broadway season continues with a powerhouse of its own when Dreamgirls comes to Segerstrom Hall. This revival is all-new for 2010, with towering LED panels as sets, and costumes that have probably used every sequin in the Northern Hemisphere. This show shines brightly in every way! The International Dance Series continues with Shen Wei Dance Arts. Choreographer Shen presents a new way of looking at Eastern culture with Re- Triptych, inspired by his travels through Asia. Each section will look and sound different, but will still flow together as a unique evening of theater and dance. We hope that you will enjoy reading about these and other performances coming in the next two months to the Center.
