Upholding the fine traditions of British Army Bands, the Band of the Irish Guards makes its debut performance in the United States and Orange County with the Philharmonic Society. The Band was given the honor of performing in Japan at the Imperial Palace in the presence of the Empress and the two Crown Princesses. The Band has appeared on television (most notably for the Queen's 80th Birthday Celebration), and in films such as “The Ipcress File,” starring Michael Caine.
