| Award-winning actor and educator, Jon Monastero, presents a fascinatingly detailed and enriching workshop on the life of a Civil War soldier.
Civil War Living History in the Classroom: Bring the American Civil War to life with a special visit from Private John Le Monte of the 10th Louisiana Infantry Regiment or John Watkins of the 24th Michigan Infantry Regiment. In workshops conducted in the first person, actor Jon Monastero immerses students in a very personal portrayal of the life of a common soldier with an emphasis on either the Union or Confederate experience. Through engaging activities and dialogue, students develop critical thinking skills and a unique, first-hand perspective of life during one of the most influential moments in our country’s history.

Each Additional Day- $400
Artist can conduct workshops in up to 6 classes per day.
Two to three workshops per class are recommended to cover all material.
