Introduction to Oil Painting: Channel creativity and self-expression into an original work of art. In a series of sequential workshops, students are guided through the basic tools and techniques of oil painting. With an emphasis on observation, students "learn to see" shape and color in a different way and to translate that vision to paper or canvas. The elements of design are introduced through group discussion and critical analysis. Students will also be guided through the setup of an effective work station while learning important safety and clean-up methods.
