| Beloved, master puppeteer, Ellen Schulze, better known as the Puppet Lady, explores the art of crafting puppets in fun, hands-on workshops geared to tap into the creative mind.
Puppetry 101: Enhance student communication, listening and problem solving skills while motivating students to learn more about literature, language and history. In this residency, students learn how to create and manipulate rod, hand and shadow puppets. In additional sessions, students may select story lines from plays to create specific character roles to be used in puppetry performances. Projects are designed for all grade levels and can easily be incorporated into any curriculum area.
Fees: Mini-Residency- $125 per Session per Class plus Materials
Residency- $100 per Session per Class plus Materials
Minimum four classes per day must be scheduled.
