| Ernesto Salcedo uses a variety of instruments and techniques including Orff xylophones, Mesoamerican folk instruments and African folk instruments in workshops designed to launch students into the world of music.
The Language of Music: Learn basic musical tones, rhythms, notation, musical form and instrumental techniques. Students develop the motor skills required to play Orff xylophones, conventional folk instruments and perform basic dance movements. Historical and cultural context are provided through storytelling and song. Content can include pre-Hispanic music, traditional Native American music and the influence of African and European cultures.
Fees: Mini-Residency- $125 per Session per Class
Residency- $100 per Session per Class
Minimum four classes per day must be scheduled.
