Classical pianist, Beth Sussman, uses classical music, literature and poetry to encourage students to read, use their imaginations and improve their listening skills in her highly interactive programs.
Piano required. Artist can provide keyboard for an additional fee.
For an additional $50, a 20-minute version of either assembly program is available for Kindergarten if at least one, full-length assembly is booked on the same day.
Classical Connections: In a unique blend of classical music, literature and movement, students learn concepts such as compare and contrast, main idea and author’s purpose. Students participate by making soundscapes, creating stories with rhythm instruments and doing movements to a steady beat, all while becoming active listeners and realizing that classical music doesn’t have to be stuffy!
Fees: Mini-Residency- $125 per Session per Class
Residency- $100 per Session per Class
Minimum four classes per day must be scheduled.
